Happy Friday, Bare Beauties! This recipe makes an energizing and satisfying breakfast smoothie. When you taste it, you will not believe it is good for you and I promise you’ll be full until lunchtime. And for all you green smoothie novices, I swear you cannot taste the spinach. This drink tastes like a spicy chocolate banana dream. Ignore the color!
- 8-12 oz unsweetened almond or coconut milk
- 1 scoop plant-based protein powder. This one is my favorite.
- 1 frozen banana
- 1 big handful baby spinach
- 1 tablespoon raw cacao nibs or powder
- cinnamon to taste
- cayenne pepper to taste
- raw honey or stevia, if desired, to taste
Blend all ingredients in a heavy-duty blender or Vitamix until smooth. Enjoy!
