Hi there, Bare Beauties.  I’m excited for this weekend; I’m heading up to New York for my bestie’s baby shower, and I’m looking forward to serious (actually not serious at all)  girl time, fall fashion and cooler temps.  I always reach for lipstick more during the fall and winter, and I’ll definitely be bringing along the newly launched Kjaer Weis Lipsticks to wear with my sweaters, jackets and booties.

This highly anticipated release does not disappoint.  Kirsten Kjaer Weis developed a formula that brings old Hollywood to mind.  Unlike her Lip Tints, which are buildable and lightweight, (I love those, too) the new lipsticks are completely opaque, highly pigmented and have a velvety finish.  They wear extremely well, and the color is long-lasting and doesn’t slide at all (before now, the only long-lasting natural lipstick on the market has been Kosas).  The formula is also very moisturizing for a highly pigmented lipstick.  Ingredients like jojoba oil, beeswax and shea butter are activated by the warmth of you lips and hydrate lips with rich, creamy, semi-matte color.  And, as with all Kjaer Weis products, the chic, durable packaging is refillable.

My favorite, that I will definitely have to refill before the end of winter, is Adore, an old Hollywood, deep red.
