I am a big fan of Lina Hanson’s Global Body Serum, so when Lina sent me a sample of her brand-spanking-new Global Baby Serum, I knew that it was going to be good.  Lina travels the world to find organic, ethically sourced, effective ingredients for her formulas.  She has also written a book on Green Beauty, Eco-Beautiful, and she is just an all-around good person.

I’ve been using the Global Baby Serum on Annabel for a few weeks now and I love it.  We all know that what goes on your baby goes in your baby, as their skin is 30% thinner than ours and more prone to potential toxins.  This oil is 100% natural and organic, and it is free of both essential and nut-based oils to ensure that even those with allergies and the most sensitive skin can feel safe using it.

The gentle watermelon seed oil featured in this formula has been prized for thousands of years in West Africa and the seeds are harvested by fair-trade women’s co-ops there today, so you can feel twice as good about using it.  Annabel doesn’t have especially sensitive skin, but her cheeks can get a little chapped, and before using this product, I couldn’t find anything that was both effective as well as non-greasy and easily absorbed.  It has worked wonders!  Lina also recommends it for cradle cap, baby massage, and for mamas with sensitive skin.  Cost: about $35 for 2 oz.  Purchase it here.
