New Tata Harper Releases that Impress

Tata Harper!  It’s been a while, since I’ve written about her, but you know Tata always has the next new product up her sleeve.  While not every formula from this rich skincare line suits my skin, (if you have mature, dry skin, Tata is your girl) I am loving the two latest releases.

I’m going to cut to the chase.  The Tata Harper Elixir Vitae Eye Serum is legit.  I’ve always been a fan of Restorative Eye Cream; I use it on and off, personally, and I often recommend it to those looking for a rich, hydrating eye cream.  People love it!  The Elixir Vitae Eye Serum takes things a step further: eyes appear brighter, lifted, smoother, even…. volumized?  I’m not kidding.  I’ve been using it for a few weeks, and I can really tell a difference.  The skin around my eyes looks smoother, and more taut.  Results improve the longer you use this product, but I could honestly tell a difference in just one use.  It’s so exciting to me when natural products are also “active”.  Who doesn’t love instant gratification?

You all know I am a huge fan of the Tata Harper Resurfacing Mask.  It is one of my all-time favorite masks, and I’ve tried many.  The beta-hydroxy acid (derived from White Willow Bark) makes it great for exfoliating and brightening dull skin, and it works wonders on inflamed blemishes when left on overnight (not only does it dry completely, but it dries clear, so it’s easy to sleep in it, work out in it, etc.).  I was a little nervous that I wouldn’t love the new Tata Harper Purifying Mask as much as my old favorite.  However, it turns out that I do love it; it is just a totally different type of mask, meant for a different purpose.  Tata basically created the Purifying Mask to help counteract the effects of air pollution on our skin.  Free radicals and chemical pollution break down collagen and elastin fibers, causing signs of premature aging.  Did you know that New York and Philadelphia are two of the most wrinkled cities in the country?  They also have very high levels of air pollution.  Coincidence?  I think not.  This mask draws out impurities with Kaolin Clay, and the inclusion of probiotics helps dissolve surface build up.  I love this mask for its soothing, calming qualities as well.  Arnica helps with puffiness and inflammation, and cold-pressed Prickly Pear Seed Oil restores elasticity and neutralizes free radicals that cause signs of aging.  I’m impressed by its results, and I think it is a must for those in cities with significant air pollution!

What are your favorite eye creams and face masks?  What are your favorites from Tata Harper?
