Hi there, Bare Beauties!  It’s been a few days since my last post, and for good reason.  Last Wednesday, I threw a little BB party (that I will tell you all about in another post), over the weekend we hosted friends and family for Annabel’s baptism, and now, I am writing to you from Monaco!  Yep, it’s official: I am certifiably insane.  Who would try to prepare for all that at once?  What was I thinking?!  Oh, well.  I’m on vaycay now – adult vaycay, as a matter of fact.   My parents are staying with Annabel, so even though I miss her so much I can’t see straight, I know she is in heaven with all that attention (pretty much an endless game of peek-a-boo).

Anyway, I just wanted to check in with you.  I’ll be posting some photos from my travels on Instagram, so feel free to follow along @barebeautyblog.

By the way, a lot of friends asked me, “Why Monaco?”  To be very honest, we wanted a shallow vacation.  We wanted to pretend we weren’t parents for a few days, sit on our asses, go to the beach, have drinks brought to us, gamble, shop and go to a glamourous dinner/club or two.  The Caribbean offers a lot of those things, but it is hot as hell there right now and and we’re already hot in Charleston.  Like I said, SHALLOW.  #sorrynotsorry
