This article from Huffington Post just about sums it up. Technology is keeping us from getting enough shut-eye. I know my husband and I are guilty of this – we are that couple that checks our iPhones/Pads last thing at night and first thing in the morning while in bed. Romantic, no? I know it is so unhealthy on so many levels, but it has become a habit, a bad one. And I know it is the culprit of each of us alternately tossing and turning every night.
With a baby coming, (meaning I will never sleep again for the rest of my life) I urgently feel we need to get this problem under control, and quick. I want to savor these last few months of selfish sleep!
I am thinking of proposing a technology diet in the bedroom…. Has anyone else attempted this? Have you succeeded? Please share!
