Most Mondays, I have a hard time getting inspired and organized, which means I clean up the weekend’s clutter around the house, go grocery shopping and write to-do lists – blog posts don’t usually happen until Tuesday. But not today! April’s Beauty Heroes Box is full of True Botanicals goodness, (formerly True Nature Botanicals). Most of you know I am an absolute devotee of this skincare line, so this may be one of the easiest posts I’ve ever written. (Read how True Botanicals’ products transformed my skin here.)
April’s Beauty Hero is True Botanicals’ Pacific Exfoliating Moisture Mask, which is one of my favorite masks of all time. Masks are a great way to treat yourself and recharge your complexion when you don’t have the time/money for a professional facial. I try to mask once a week, and if my skin is acting up, I go for twice a week. Even if you are lucky enough to get a sun-kissed glow in the coming weeks/months, don’t neglect your masking routine! Sweat and extra sebum production can clog pores, and the sun can cause discoloration and overly dry skin if you aren’t careful. And, if it’s still snowing (!) where you are, not only am I sorry for you, but you need to mask, too, if you want to keep your complexion glow-y and hydrated. I’ll stop preaching now. 🙂
True Botanicals Exfoliating Moisture Mask is the perfect year-round mask for all skin types. It is incredibly hydrating – but – it also happens to work wonders on clogged pores. Sugar Beet-derived Lactic Acid (a powerful Alpha Hydroxy Acid) “eats” dead skin cells without irritating; Avocado and Mango Butters provide humectant properties; Potato Flour brightens. This mask feels super-tingly while you have it on, but once you rinse, skin is calm, bright and hydrated. If you are looking for one good anti-aging mask, this is it. Also, a little goes a long way, so it’s a great value. Another bonus? This mask goes on clear, so you won’t scare your children/lover while you treat yourself, and you only need to leave it on for 15 minutes (3-5 minutes for sensitive skin). How is that for efficient?
April’s Sidekick is True Botanicals’ Pacific Face Oil. Not just any face oil, this product uses therapeutic seed oils and potent marine antioxidants to replenish the top layers of aging skin so it can retain moisture and repel assaults from sun and wind. It softens fine lines, and balances all skin types. The sample is a generous one, as you only need 4-6 drops per application.
As usual, the Beauty Heroes box is such a great value this month. Pacific Exfoliating Moisture Mask retails at $90 and a deluxe sample of Pacific Face Oil retails goes for $28, but both are included for $39 in the Beauty Heroes box. In case you don’t want to do the math, that is 66% OFF! This is a very economical way to be introduced to this highly-esteemed skincare line. You can order this month’s box here and as always, subscribers get 15% off in the Beauty Heroes Shop which features other Beauty Heroes favorites.
Happy Masking!
