Clean Beauty Mother’s Day Gifts

Mother’s Day is around the corner, have you given any thought to what you will give, or if you’re a mom, what you want to receive?  Personally, I just want to relax, go to a yoga class, and have a casual dinner with my family. (And flowers and a card.  Ahem, gentlemen…)  I won’t be with my mom, but I like to treat her to Clean Beauty favorites.  She loves them, but like so many selfless mothers out there, she doesn’t really buy that kind of thing for herself.  Follain has a ton of great options:

First light a candle.  Follain’s signature candle is good for us (nontoxic aromatherapy) and good for the earth (vegetable wax candle, cotton wick, recycled jar and the plantable packaging contains wildflower seeds).

Scrub-a-dub-dub with Captain Blankenship’s Rosemary and Lemongrass Sugar Scrub to promote improved circulation and soft, smooth skin.

Apply May Lindstrom’s The Honey Mud mask.  This pudding-like concoction gently detoxifies and hydrates every skin type.

Draw a bath and pour in a few scoops of Captain Blankenship’s Skydancer Bath Salts.  Epsom salts and Pacific sea salt draw out toxins and soften and remineralize skin.  Essential oils of lavender, palmarosa and tangerine smell dreamy.

Emerge and apply Farmaesthetics Midnight Honey Body Oil, Deep Lavender Rub or Dreaming Aromatherapy Oil, or all of them!  The body oil is lightly scented and lovely, the rub is perfect for sore muscles or a stuffy head and the aromatherapy oil is like an aromatherapy lullaby.

I had to include Vapour Stratus Instant Skin Perfector.  Vapour is one of my mom’s favorite cosmetic lines.  Their products are incredibly hydrating, yet light, and the colors and formulas are modern and luxurious.  This 3-in-1 moisturizer, BB Cream and colorless foundation stick is a winner.

Soapwalla Pregnant Belly Oil is great for mamas-to-be.  This special, nourishing formula is great for preventing stretch marks and relieving itchy skin, and the essential oils it contains are pregnancy-safe.

Don’t forget the card and flowers.  😉
