Happy Monday.  I hope you had a great weekend!  I am so excited to announce that Celadon and RMS Beauty and I will be hosting an event to celebrate the launch of RMS Beauty’s new pre-fall colors on Thursday, August 14th.  (See details, above.)

If you read Bare Beauty regularly, then you know that I am a HUGE fan of RMS Beauty and it is part of my daily beauty routine.  It is the Cleanest, Greenest makeup out there and it has a cult following that includes Miranda Kerr and Gisele Bundchen, so they are obviously doing something (or everything) right.  I’ve blogged about RMS before here, here and here.  Oh, and did you know that their sales and operations are based here in Charleston?  Lucky me 🙂

Celadon is one of my favorite local resources for home decor.  I always find worldly treasures like hand-carved Indian mirrors and hand-woven Makenge and Swahili baskets from Africa when shopping there.  Celadon is also an eco-friendly store that carries products that are designed with the environment in mind.  Many of their furnishings and accessories are made with reclaimed, recycled, renewable and sustainable materials and they have a firm commitment to both global and local fair-trade.  Celadon’s natural, sophisticated atmosphere makes it the perfect place for this event.

Sooooo, this party is going to be really fun.  Many friends and readers have told me that they want to try RMS products, but the creamy coconut oil base throws them off; they don’t know how to apply it.  This is the perfect opportunity to see the colors in person and try them out.  We will have a makeup artist present doing mini make-overs with purchase and I will be there along with some of the girls from RMS doling out tips of our own.  Celadon and RMS will both be offering awesome giveaways and we will have cocktails (duh) and some light bites as well.  I hope you can make it!
