Happy June!  I’m always motivated by a new month and a new season.  It really feels like Summer here in Charleston, and I’m excited for a fresh start.  I’ve got so many awesome products to tell you about, even entirely new product lines.  My office is overflowing with boxes and ideas, but today I looked down at my desk, and what was staring straight at me?  The lip product that I carry with me everywhere.

I’ve been wearing a lot of Kari Gran Lip Whip in Marsala.  As you probably know, Marsala was named color of the year by PANTONE.  While it sounds rich and wintery, this subtly shimmery lippie is anything but when it’s paired with a summer glow (or, if you are like me, a tan #sorrynotsorry).  It’s almost more like a bronze-berry hue once it is on the lips – so pretty!

I’ve written about Kari Gran’s Lip Whips before here.  They are made of organic plant-based oils, natural vitamin E and organic beeswax and nothing, and I mean nothing, has ever felt better on my lips.  The texture is so unique and this product moisturizes like no other.  Oh, and it tastes and smells like peppermint.  🙂

I’m going to go open a bottle of wine (Marsala?  No, probably Rosé) and cook dinner for the first time in a month.  Seriously, what in the hell happened to May?
